TWO CENTS ON CURRENT MEDIA

Your kids have seen it...Are they getting the message?
I came across what I feel is a pretty fair assessment of New Moon and thought I would share it with you. The writer, Jonathan McKee doesn't pull many punches or sugar coat things, and his two cents are typically very objective based on content and message.

DID THE AMA's SEND A STRONG MESSAGE TO PARENTS?
Another Jonathan McKee blog post. Not a commentary on sexuality, but rather a questioning of the message that our media is sending our youth culture. Did you see it? Jonathan's take on this makes me wonder if the dialogue is open between our parents and our kids at 3rd?

WE NEED PARENTS TO BRING SOME SNACKS!!!
- At the end of each Midweek, we have a time of hanging out & eating yummy snacks that we call the "Wind Down." We've got some open spots between now and February and we need some parents (especially parents who have not yet brought snacks) to fill in these open spots! The Wind Down is a great ending to our night and is made possible by your generosity! Please call Brandon to help out in this way!
